A stunning Hollardops trilobite fossil from the Devonian period, discovered in the famous fossil beds from Morocco. These trilobites lived about 390 million years ago, in the ancient seas that once covered North Africa.
This specimen displays remarkable detail. The large compound eyes, segmented thorax, and smooth exoskeleton are beautifully preserved in a "Flying" pose. Hollardops trilobites are highly sought after by collectors for their distinctive shape and excellent fossilization quality.
Carefully extracted from the famous fossil beds of Morocco.
As with many of these beautifully prepared trilobites, they come attached to a plastic container for protection. As shown on one of the pictures.
