Saltasaurus was a sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous (about 70 million years ago) in what is now South America. Unlike many other sauropods, Saltasaurus was relatively small for its group.

These fragments come from the nesting sites where titanosaurs laid their eggs in shallow pits, often in large colonies.
