- Longest side: 2.64" = 6,71 cm
- Italy
- Miocene period (~23–5 million years ago)
This is a rare and collectible Megalodon tooth fossil put on limestone (not original) matrix from the Miocene period (~23–5 million years ago). This specimen comes from Italy, a much less common locality compared to the more widely available finds from North America and Indonesia.
The tooth shows excellent preservation with visible enamel, serrations, and root detail.
Comes with acrylic stand
PLEASE NOTE: The other side of the tooh would have shown a cut from the saw during the excavation, therefore the tooth was glued on limestone for display, still a very rare piece.
