This genuine Enchodus libycus tooth fossil originates from the Cretaceous marine deposits of Morocco. Enchodus, often called the “saber-toothed herring”, was a fierce predatory fish that inhabited ancient seas alongside mosasaurs and sharks.
The tooth is characterized by its long, dagger-like shape and sharp point, adapted for capturing prey. Enchodus teeth are highly recognizable and sought after due to their appearance and excellent fossilization.
PS. Glued in 2 places which is common for these fossils.
