A dermal plate from an unidentified crocodile species dating back to the Upper Cretaceous period of the Ifezouane Formation.
With a high likelihood of belonging to the Elosuchus sp genus, this specimen is a top-notch addition to any collection. Crocodile remains are prevalent in the Cretaceous faunal association of northern Morocco, yet specific identification, even at the genus level, poses significant challenges.
