Size of Amber: 0.36" = 93mm
Size of largest paw: +/- 0.08" = 2mm
Location: Hukawng Valley, Northern Myanmar.
Age: Cretaceous (~100 million years).
Condition: no restoration, paws are really small microscope is needed for proper viewing. Amber also contains small flies.
Burmite amber, derived from ancient resin, has preserved a treasure trove of prehistoric life and offers a glimpse into Earth's distant past.
Burmese amber (Burmite amber) is of significant palaeontological interest due to the diversity of flora and fauna contained as inclusions.
Please be aware that the inclusion is very small and really needs to be looked at with a magnifying glass for the best results. It comes with a small magnifying box, but use of miscroscope is advised.
