This is a rare and genuine fossil tooth of Archaeodontosaurus Descouensi a large early sauropod dinosaur from the Middle Jurassic. It was discovered in the Isalo Formation of Madagascar, one of the few places in the world where this rare species has been found.
Archaeodontosaurus was a close relative of the famous sauropods, the long-necked giants. Although smaller and more primitive, it already displayed the herbivorous adaptations that would later dominate in sauropod lineages. Its teeth are broad, leaf-shaped, and serrated, designed for shredding tough vegetation.
PLEASE NOTE: Glued on 2 spots after excavation
