About Chondrites:
Chondrites are stony (non-metallic) meteorites that remain unaltered by melting or differentiation processes on the parent body. Formed from the accretion of various dust and small grains in the early Solar System, chondrites represent the most common type of meteorite, constituting approximately 86 percent of all meteorites on Earth.
