- Middle Jurassic, 167 million years
This genuine Afrovenator abakensis fossil tooth fragment originates from Niger, representing one of Africa’s most important Middle Jurassic predatory dinosaurs. Afrovenator was a fast, agile theropod related to early allosauroids and known for its powerful jaws and blade-like teeth.
In the Nigeran department of Agadez, the Tiourarén Formation is where the bones of Afrovenator were first found in 1993.
Comes with acrylic plate.
