This authentic Peronopsis interstrictus trilobite fossil originates from the renowned Wheeler Shale Formation in Millard County, Utah. Dating back to the Cambrian Period (~505 million years ago), this tiny trilobite belongs to the Agnostid group, known for their small size and distinct two-lobed body form.
Peronopsis interstrictus lived in the same ancient seas as Elrathia kingii, and its fossils are prized for their excellent preservation. Despite their small size, these specimens show remarkable detail, revealing the delicate anatomy of one of Earth’s earliest arthropods.
A perfect addition to any fossil collection and sourced from one of the most important Cambrian fossil localities in the world.
