Genuine Saltasaurus Dinosaur Eggshell Fossil from the Late Cretaceous
A rare and fascinating piece from the Late Cretaceous period. Discovered in Patagonia (Salta province), Argentina, this fossil once protected the developing young of Saltasaurus, a small, armored titanosaur and one of the last known sauropod dinosaurs.
The fragment displays a distinctive texture typical of sauropod eggshells from this location, often with fine pore structures and relatively thick shells.
Species: Saltasaurus loricatus
