This small authentic plesiosaur vertebra fossil originates from Morocco and represents a prehistoric marine reptile that lived in ancient seas. Plesiosaurs were long-necked ocean predators that once thrived the oceans.
The vertebra shows natural bone structure and surface texture, preserved through millions of years of fossilization. Its robust form makes it an excellent standalone display fossil.
Did you know?
Unlike the long-necked image in movies, plesiosaurs could not bend their necks like snakes instead, they used their whole body to chase down prey.
Cube on picture is 1cm x 1cm (not included)
