- Kem Kem beds, Taouz, Morocco
- Cretaceous (~ 95 million years old)
This fossil tooth comes from Aidachar pankowskii, a fish that lived during the Late Cretaceous (approx. 95 million years ago) in present-day Morocco.
Aidachar was a predatory fish and part of the diverse Kem Kem fauna, famous for its spectacular fossils. Teeth from this species are rare and sometimes incorrectly associated to Pterosaur teeth from this region.
