    This particular tooth was found in Khouribga Morocco.

    Age: Cretaceous, about 90 million years old.

    Enchodus libycus is a fascinating ancient fish that once inhabited the seas during the Late Cretaceous period. 🐟

    With its elongated body and needle-like teeth, it was a master predator of its time.  Enchodus libycus possessed specialized adaptations for capturing smaller fish and squid, making it a top predator in the prehistoric oceanic food chain.
